Northern Express Hockey

I've been involved in hockey for nearly 40 years as a player and a coach. I started coaching youth sports 24 years ago with my children.  Coaching hockey is my favorite by far.

I have been a hockey coach for the past seventeen years. I started coaching at the house level as both my sons began to learn the game of hockey. I then went on to coach high school for nine years. During this time, I was a varsity assistant  coach for four years, then a junior varsity head coach for two years.  After that, I became the varsity head coach for three years.  I then moved on to the Express Organization where I have now coached for two consecutive seasons.  My son, Dave Fitzgerald has been my assistant coach at Express and we look forward to the upcoming season.
