Mark has over 22+ years of coaching experience, including Tier 1, as well as pre-mite thru Midget and High School Levels. He was a Director of Hockey for 14+ years, running power skating and skills while overseeing entire programs. His teams have won four State Championships on three different levels, twelve Presidents Cups and six league tourney titles. Mark uses unique teaching skills to engage the players and challenge them, while making the hockey experience fun and rewarding. As a Tier 1 player in Illinois, Mark played on teams which won a National Championship, five State Championships and four Silver Stick titles. These along with numerous Canadian Championships were attained while playing for the Chicago Minor Hawks and the first teams at Team Illinois. Mark attended Harper College and Columbia College. He has a background in Sound Engineering and Kinesiology, including ACEP/NFICEP certification. Mark has also obtained Mandated Reporter status for keeping kids safe in all environments. Mark believes the quickest way for the players to excel and improve is to make the environment fun and safe for the kids. Hockey is the greatest game in the world according to Mark!!
